Helgi David Bjornsson
Helgi Davíð Björnsson is working as an ophthalmologist at Sjónlag eye clinic and Landspítali – The National University Hospital of Iceland.
He has been a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) since 2019. He is co-founder of Sesyn, the leading online resource for clinical guidelines in ophthalmology in Norway.
Helgi was previously secretary of the Norwegian Society of Ophthalmology and the Oslo Ophthalmology Society. He has been the leader of the Young Ophthalmologist planning committee for the Nordic Congresses of Ophthalmology in both 2018 and 2020.
